I am Muscogee, born and raised in Oklahoma. In 1998, I left my home state seeking personal growth and healing. Since then, I have built a fulfilling career in Student Affairs, spanning six universities and serving a diverse range of Native American and other student populations. My time at these institutions has afforded me invaluable cultural experiences, inspiring stories, meaningful relationships, and professional growth that has earned me respect in my field.
I am deeply grateful to the many tribal families and communities who welcomed me into their homes and ceremonies, and to those who embraced me as an uncle, nephew, son, and brother. These connections have played a vital role in my healing journey and continue to fuel my passion for this important work in higher education.
I am committed to supporting institutions and individuals in better understanding how to serve and collaborate with Native American students and communities. The teachings, values, and "good medicine" that have been shared with me are gifts I hope to pass on, helping others integrate them into their work and create a more inclusive environment for all.
